PIPPIN

Lilla Beddinge Teater’s production of PIPPIN differs somewhat from the original as director Rasmus Mononen gives it a perspective of today’s society.

This is a musical about the young influencer Prince Pippin – a narcissist’s wonderful journey through reality – where we follow Pippin in his quest to become an eternally shining star in the sky. With the increasing presence of social media in our daily life,  Pippin is driven to maintain the image of his extraordinary life to his followers, but to succeed he is forced to increasingly extreme measures.
